M Phil, PhD in Applied Microbial Chemistry and Genetics

Applied microbial biochemistry and genetics forms one section of the microbiological research group at Cardiff University. All major microorganism groups are studied, including bacteria, archaea, protozoa, filamentous fungi and yeast; many current projects involve collaboration with researches in the UK, Europe and beyond.
