MSc, PGDip, PGCert in Applied Artificial Intelligence

Designed to give you the latest knowledge and computational skills in the areas of machine learning and intelligent discovery methods. Also provides the opportunity to learn more about the application of AI techniques to commercial and industrial problems. Taught modules: nature-inspired computation; neural networks; pattern recognition; tools and techniques; selected topics in applied artificial intelligence; generic and transferable skills. Research modules: research methodology; MSc research project. If you have no previous knowledge of Java, a series of introductory sessions and supervised workshops is available that will provide programming skills in the language.
